Can Not Use Num Pad in Black Ops???

I can't assign any keys to the Num pad. When I do i can only use the numbers on the keyboard. Am I missing something? Is there a way to use these keys? I'm use to playing a certain way with all my games and now I can't with this game.

turn num lock off, config whatever key you need to and then you can activate the num lock again, and now it will work. i had to do this too. hope i made sense

You can probably bind them directly using your config file too.

it's easier to just turn num lock off, bind the keys you want and turn num lock back on

What makes it so good is you hand rests on it in a natural position. Then you have all the macro functions and D pad. The wheel is useless but meh, no biggie the rest more than make sup for the useless wheel. Mullet linked the newest version but there isn't any difference between the two other than lights and color.

Yeah it's the same pad. The reason why I linked the older one is the paint on the buttons don't rub off as they do on TE. I have the TE also but only because the older one's foward button wore out. I hate the lights on it. I have them always off and I took off the stupid thumb controler insert so it is like the original.

I used to use the Num pad for movement a long time ago. I retrained myself after I came across a game that wouldn't work with num pad.
