Play it in SM 2.0. I had everything at max, PhysX on, with SM2.0 at 1920x1200 no AA/AF and it looked and ran great at a solid 60fps. To be honest I don't see a huge difference between 2.0 and 4.0 so it's worth it to at least play it on the lower setting than give up.

That could be why it performs better too? Either way it's a fair option for a person who can't game at 25fps (which I think this game can be played at as it's much slower than most FPSes).

And it looked stunning with PhysX.
I could not imagine playing this game without PhysX... made the dips in the low 20's still worth it.

I just love the water dripping down walls in this game. They should have added water splashing off the doors when you open them.
This game had me glued to my seat the entire time, though it probably has 1/10th of the action that MW2 has.

Enabling physx just add more particles and dynamic water in some places.

Good that wall water is always there, It really makes You feel warm. and cold when its freeze again.

This is most underrated game of last year. Its best horror game since Dead space but in very other style. Mory psychic

Has anybody compared this game using SLI vs 1 card dedicated for physx ? Also, how do you set the 2nd card to do that?

Agree 100%. I actually played Dead Space and Cryostasis one after the other (just finished Cryostasis a couple hours ago). Very underrated game... one I won't soon forget.

Not sure how long this has been the case... but Cryostasis is 12.99 on Steam right now. Going to go ahead and pick it up at this price.
