When is the official SP2 going to be released? You guys can give this one a shot and see if it improves anything.

What is the build number of this one after installed? I'm already running .286 on both my SP2 machines.

Also the problem with the integrated isos is that you cannot update the SP2 since you have to remove the previous one, installing from the integrated ISO wont let you update. I ran into this last week when I installed with RC 1 integrated and they updated to .286 SP2.

look at the size of iso: 1350.3 MB

it is only all versions of SP2 on single DVD to install from, not integrated ISO

thats because its the standalone with all the updates that you probably already have installed. The incremental SP2 is like 45 mb according to MS website.

Ah, makes sense. Scared me for a second, heh.

Just installed the 64-bit version for Vista and it reports as Build 6002: Service Pack 2, v. 286.

That's weird. Did you install anything else prior to this release?

Thats the previous SP2 beta. .286 is the new one. Make sure you go in and uninstall the SP, then reinstall this one, here is what mine looks like.
