Think about it... there's been a mass push for PhysX, and isn't AMD still pushing HavoK? Regardless... I think it is *very* doable. I also feel that for it to look like that you'd have to have a pretty "top-end" rig, so I realise that it might not ship with that level of detail. Regardless, I don't see it as being impossible, just unlikely. The last game designied to push current hardware beyond the limits was Crysis- and people still complain about the game...

It may not look quite like that in the end (never know really) but Pure was an excellent game so I'll keep an eye on this game.
