Gentoo's desktop-effects overlay now includes maniac103's patch in the workarounds plugin in compiz-plugins-main 0.8.2.

Apparently now this patch is also pulled into debian sid compiz 0.8.2 packages.

So i tried to emerge libtool but i still got the same error. How can I fix that ?
This bug is very annoying !

I can confirm that the patch posted earlier in this thread works. I can now enable "loose binding" which results in a marked performance increase and NO redraw issues. I still have tearing with dual monitors, but it's pretty minor.

Note, card is a Quadra FX360M on a Dell Precision M4300 laptop... not sure if this is universal or limited to laptop cards.
