Hi!
I despair to solve my graphical problem. I experience stability problems on my: -MSI k7n2 delta (nforce2 chipset) -Geforce 6800 LE under: -gentoo linux -kernel linux-2.6.27-gentoo-r8 -nvidia drivers 177.82 THE PROBLEM: My opengl display give occasionally strange artefacts. It's difficult to describe them, it seems like noise and sometime it appear regular placed red patterns. The appearance of there artefacts cause nvidia wait events : (WW) NVIDIA(0): WAIT (0, 6, 0x0000, 0x000042a4, 0x000042a4) system freeze and sometimes program exit. I see the problem in a panorama stitcher/viewer that I did when I turn the camera toward the background. That is to say when almost nothing is displayed. ( note that the program work on my ati card ). I HAVE TRIED: -to check all the point of http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=58498 -to install another linux distribution (kubuntu) -to desactivate agp -it is not an hardware masked unit problem: (see nvclock.log) So this is my program (good3.c need images, libMagick and libGlut) , and the nvidia log. Thanks!! |
