cant we just keep point and click to move? I suppose if he walks to the object you try to interact with it might work, but it´d suck to use WASD to move and get "cant reach" when you click something you´re not close enough to..

That's what they said they were doing to Sam & Max next time so they could bring it to consoles (other than the Wii).

Grim Fandango is proof that point and click isn't totally necessary for a great adventure game but it does change the feel of the game a lot.

IMO opinion both Grim and MI4 would have been easier to play with point and click really.
I enjoyed them both, but it´s a real hassle moving about.

Cant be that hard to retain a point and click interface on PC versions, and whatever other sort of madness they want for consoles, and as a option for PC (for when you just want to lie on the couch to play)

Yeah, both would be good... but they will likely pick one or the other.

Sam and Max just came out on XBLA with point and click controls, using the analog stick like a mouse, and I thouht it worked just fine. That's me though.

Monkey Island Creator to Keynote at PAX 2009
