Default suse 10.2 / 8800gtx / driver 180.*

Driver cannot be loaded.
Message in Xorg log:

"(EE) NVIDIA(0): Failed to load the NVIDIA kernel module!"

no more error messages

Is there a known issue with this combination?

Driver version 177.* loads without problem.

180.* loads correct on suse 11.0 and 11.1 with different cards (7xxx, 8xxx, 9xxx)
