need advice on OCling gtx 260 216 (sparkle)

hey guys as u know i have the sparkle gtx 260 216 cores or as in the sparkle way i have the gtx 260+ card ( the 2nd one in the pic SXX260896D3S-VM)

now i was about to start ocing this beast and wanted some advice

ok now the default settings are according to evga precision are
core clock 576
shader clock 1242
memory clock 999

now i just ocled the card to 600 core clock and the temps were like max 55C when i played for 5-10 min

i got like 20-30 fps increase mayb

iam also not using a after cooler for my cpu or gpu and the game was very stable

i wanna ask is that shld i try to oc wat aspects of my card?

also shld i overclock everything or only core?

any other help or advice is also welcome

iam really a noob at ocling so plz guide me how to this

also i have an air conditioner in front of my case and when i switch it on the temps go down by 5-10 C

any adivce?

hey guys i just pumped up my oc to this

core 700

shader 1400

memory 1100

fan 80

it worked for 10 min with ati tool with temp not reaching 60

and wworked with l4d for less than 10 min(like 7-8 min) without a hiccup

now can any1 tell me wether i shld oc more or just settle for this?

That is a pretty good overclock. You might just wanna stop there, unless you feel like there is more room.

If you get any artifacts/"weird stuff" just lower the clocks and keep it there.

EDIT: Also, in the future try to make the spelling at least, a bit more careful!

also tested on furmark for about 20 min and no error

I would take the Core down to 700 if i was you as 750+ is abit to high for long entensive gaming.

shader at 1512 seems fine

memory @ 1152 should be around 1250 Max as ddr3 can be oc'ed realy nice if you have fan runing at 80 dont go over that though 1250 as its max it will go, If you can push volts up on memmory on card you could overclock it more to over 1300+.
