Default Powerline Networking Adapters

Hey guys. I know a few people (Nekro, Sat) have played around with these things before. It sounds like the bandwidth is okay, but I can't seem to find anyones comments about latency. Trying to setup a network for a friend and the adapters crossed my head, but I'm wonder if it would be worth the extra cost over a pair of routers in bridge mode.

Any feedback is appreciated.

FYI, for those who don't know what I'm referring to it is these things.

No issues with latency personally.
