Well, I've been using 7 for a while now, and I only notice this with IE8 so I guess I just assumed it was IE8. However, now that I'm thinking about it- it seems I do recall it doing this with copy and move windows as well.

I only use IE8 when I am using SSL to vpn into my company. Other than that, it's the Fox for me...

Wow, I don't understand how people think that surfing the web with IE8 is faster then FF? I can't stand IE8, I went to the fox like almost 1 day after my win7 install. FF is craptons faster then IE8 in loading pages n such. Maybe for security or for other reasons then surfing IE8 is better. But I have no idea what people are peeing their panties about because FF is like doubly faster then Internet Exploder g8.

Pretty much the same here. IE8 is slow bloated (FF the same) and just looks bad, regardless of visual style.

IE8 fails miserably in the acid3 test, which says enough alone. http://acid3.acidtests.org/

I don't understand all the IE8 hate.

The visual style is essentially the same as every other window within windows... to hate the IE8 visual style means you must hate Windows visual style.

Considering how many of you "doctor-up" your Windows with fancy themes and the likes, I guess I can understand how ya'll would feel this way towards IE8. I just don't fancy themes and such cause they always seem to just burden the system unnecessarily.

IE8 seems every bit as fast as FF for me. Pages load about the same. If there's any difference it's in milli-seconds, if not nano-seconds.

As to Chrome- I've never used it. IE8 suffices. Love the 64-bit version cause most flash ads and such are naturally blocked.

being a web developer. as t3hl33td4rg0n already mentioned. i will never consider IE a good browser until it gets 90+ from http://acid3.acidtests.org/ like the rest of the browsers
