If you guys want I got a really good demo from someone on steam forums to do some benchmarks with.

Just unzip it and put it in your tf dir, then run the command "timedemo stresstest.dem" and post back the results with your hardware.

I get stuttering and in general a lower fps using multicore rendering

It doesn't crash any more on exit, FINALLY.

I haven't played this in a while, the server browser is weird now.

LOL just ran TF2 and it crashed with hl2.exe crash before the game even loaded.

EDIT: ok all good now, must have been a hiccup.

I'm already at 60 FPS with vsync on, but maybe the placebo effect of this will give me a smoother 60 FPS.
