If you guys want I got a really good demo from someone on steam forums to do some benchmarks with.

I get stuttering and in general a lower fps using multicore rendering

It doesn't crash any more on exit, FINALLY.
I haven't played this in a while, the server browser is weird now. |

LOL just ran TF2 and it crashed with hl2.exe crash before the game even loaded.
EDIT: ok all good now, must have been a hiccup. |

I'm already at 60 FPS with vsync on, but maybe the placebo effect of this will give me a smoother 60 FPS.
