I bought 'DCS Black Shark' via digital download yesterday..
My God. It's like joining the air force and learning to fly a helicopter from scratch. Absolutely authentic. Check this out. The simHQ preview. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1FYIVMn9zs If you're into hardcore sims, you have to get this - but it's full on. (56 buttons just to get the thing started in authentic flight mode.) |

Here's another cracker. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZbeB...eature=related Seriously, this is like owning your own attack helicopter and having to learn to fly the beast. Get it here: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/ (Seriously feels like you're flying - mouse look around this amazing ****pit - every button clickable or turnable and fly with stick. Awesome.) Really recommend you watch the vid, or type the name into youtube, there's a big fanbase growing around it now - especially since FlightSim has been cancelled. |

Lol..the fully functioning ****pit kills me. I think this is how all sims should go. Id spend hours flipping switches and turning dials. They have the ****pit spot on, now they just need to improve their terrain engine abit.

No probs at all - there's already downloadable terrain packs that add hires textures / skins etc. Loads of third party support and amazing reviews from real pilots...

Put it this way, I just bough the trackir4 motion tracker just to get that extra immersion.
The ENTIRE ****pit is clickable / turnable. We're talking full flight checks and booting sequences just to get the ****er off the ground. Love it. |

This can't be possible because all the HAWX threads say they don't make sims anymore.

Yep, very 20th Century ![]() But never mind, Rise of Flight soonish and the Korea sim before the biggie - Storm of War: Battle of Britain. Beautiful terrain engines, real sims. Not so many buttons in Rise of Flight ![]() |
