Default Bad Geforce Go 7600 in HP Laptop

Well, the warranty is gone, and this just went bad outside the extended 2 year service period for the second time.

HP is of no help, they want to charge me out the butt to replace the motherboard, and their 24 month warranty extendation ended in january for me, apparently.

Staples is of no help, the extended warranty died from them too.

It's an hpdv9205us and I liked it until now, I'm never buying hp again because they simply replaced the gpu the first time with the same defective chip...

I was using Linux and the latest beta drivers the whole time. Is there anything nVidia can do to help me resolve this? It's their crappy chip's fault coupled with HP's lack of caring for my situation that has caused me to have this problem. This is the second time the motherboard needs to be replaced as a result of what I assume to be the GPU and/or HP's poor support. I know nVidia paid for the replacement, but HP has just been putting the same faulty chips back into the laptops when they "repair" them, and that therefore means that the money is being put elsewhere, rather than into fixing the bad GPU chips.
