Default Onboard 9400 driver issues

Hello, I can't seem to get the Nvidia 180.44 working. I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 64 bit, and I have an onboard Geforce 9400. Whenever I run gdm I see the Nvidia logo then the monitor loses the signal. If I switch gdm to not use the Nvidia driver then it works fine. I have attached the log and the xorg.conf file. If you have any ideas please let me know. Thanks.
