Finished it 5 minutes ago and i liked it a lot
Bought the original ages ago but never really got around to playing it.I enjoyed them both equally though, since i never got into the first one until now both games felt like one.

So is anyone getting surround sound in this game? I'm running Windows 7 RC x64 with an Asus HDAV 1.3 Deluxe card and I'm only getting stereo sound. I do have an old X-fi Prelude card on a shelf and Vista x64 on another partition, so if anyone is actually getting surround sound that might convince me to start experimenting.
EDIT: Alright, this is now one of the stupidest things I have ever encountered. So just for fun I decided to set the windows sound to 7.1. In the Asus driver controls you can set the windows speaker setting and Asus driver speaker setting separately, so I left the Asus setting at 5.1 so 7.1 would be mixed down to 5.1. Lo and behold I suddenly got surround sound in Riddick! If I set it back to 5.1 in windows I only get stereo, but with 7.1 activated it's no problem at all. Good job Starbreeze. |

I've been playing this and noticed the 182.50 drivers force AFR1 in SLI. This causes random crashes and lockups within 20 minutes of play. Forcing AFR2 is worse with less than 1 minute of play before a lockup. SFR seems to work, but is not as ideal as AFR. I don't want to use the 185.85 drivers. nVidia needs to fix vsync before I start using those.

The 185.85 drivers fixed the SLI crash plus I managed to get vsync working. I have everything enabled minus AA.

Played more of it yesterday and the game was solid stability wise. I have everything enabled including SSAO. Using 1920x1080 with 8x anisotropic filtering forced in the CP and no AA. OpenGL looks great!

I can't get this game to look right on any of the screen settings. I have a 19" monitor and the perspective is weird and looks distorted when you pan around on all screen settings. If I stand in front of a square object it begins to distort and change to a oblong shape when I pan around. What's going on? You can't honestly tell me it's supposed to be like that lol. Any fix?
