Atari has been ignoring Steam lately, sadly.

On the stretching issue... the game actually gives you a plethora of aspect ratio options, which is sweet. "Normal" seems to default to an anamorphic 16:9 image like Mirror's Edge or Assassin's Creed, "Auto" seems to pick whatever fills your screen, and then you can also select other aspect ratios based on width and height. It's pretty cool, you can even play the game in scope ratio, but I would bet most people will default to "normal" and play with no stretching.

No matter how much AA I apply the metal surfaces shimmer... game needs transperent MSAA or whatever it's called.

Did a detailed report for WSGF... game is anamorphic widescreen, but with options that allow you to distort the image to fit your screen.

See here: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com...ic.php?t=15843

I'll post more screens in a bit.

New screens... they're bitmaps, so prepare:

Game looks really good in my opinion, except for the shimmering metal. Kind of like Fallout 3's Rivet City, if that makes sense. Transparency AA fixed that in FO3 and would likely do so here.

My point was the shadow work in the game is amazingly well done... "soft" or not.

Looks stunning!

Is this Athena? I read somewhere they added the new engine effects also into Butchersbay?
