I honestly didn't have hardly any problem with the repetition. I played in 1 hour chunks and when I can back to the same mission types I wasn't really fussed, because they were in a different part of the city and I just run away for fun and maybe fight.
Things I didn't really like were the outside the cities, then there were too many hiding spots in cities. I also felt combat was kinda poor to start with and got good about 2/3rds of the way through.

Loved the first game, very atmospheric and great fun to play, can't wait for the sequel. I heard a rumour that it would be set in Venice, though Japan would be a good setting too.

My main problem with the game was that once you got the counter-attack move combat was basically non-existant. The same game, in a new place and time, with a much better combat system would be a total winner for me.

- Boss, we don't have anything to show but need to build hype for the game.
- Throw together a teaser video showing a scrolling tapestry, the fans will love it and not claw their eyes out for loosing one minute of their lives watching crap. |

The problem with the repetition in AC was it was so boring getting intel... sit on a bench and listen in on a conversation... so freaking annoying. You literally sat on a bench and did nothing for like 5 minutes.

I admit it did get repetitive, but it didn't really bother me. I could play the game at my pace and not be first into doing stuff for the most part which is something I really like in games. I also like have side quests like finding all of the flags. Its one of those games I can actually play and relax instead of getting frustrated.
