Default Force unclock or low power mode

I have an 8800GT and I'm running the 180.44 drivers. I can see in the the nvidia control panel that I am running in the "Desktop" profile yet the card still seems fully clocked and is hovering around 68C. The ambient case temperature is 55C which seems high since the inside of the case doesn't feel that hot and it is a Cooler Master Centurion 5 with plenty of fans. I've blown out all of the dust and lint but the temp hasn't changed. I only use the computer for web development, firefox and such, so performance isn't much of an issue.

Are there any options I can pass the driver to lower my temperature?

Thanks.
