Well they had two stalker games and failed to do pripyat properly (free roam, not rushed) in both games. Limansk onwards in clear sky was a joke. Bug level for both games was disappointing esp clear sky.

I really really really wish they'd pay a lot to outsource the damn QA to a decent team and get the next one as polished as possible. I love the core gameplay and atmosphere in both. But the bugs and the crap end gameplay kills it.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Getting Second Expansion, Sequel - http://kotaku.com/5207526/stalker-ge...pansion-sequel

Quote:
Blues News has spotted an interview on a Russian web site that reveals plans for not only a second S.T.A.L.K.E.R. expansion, but for a full-blown sequel as well.

The website - whose name my keyboard just can't reproduce - had an interview with GSC's Sergey Grigorovitch, where he reveals plans for a second standalone expansion to the game. Given the awesome name Call of Pripyat, it's due in the Fall.

Grigorovitch also mentions a full-blown S.T.A.L.K.E.R. sequel, but doesn't provide any further details other than the fact the team are working on it.

I loved the game, could forgive the bugs, but it was SO damn easy and you could do so little with your money it was a joke.

I mean cmon, if you rushed on ahead, you could get assault rifles + 100000 artifacts. The damn dealers would give you bugger all and sold only old ****e.

Meh, great idea but the founding work wasnt there.
