I'm using the same graphics pack.. it definitely improves the textures. with my GTX295 I can handle 4xAA which IMHO is far more of an improvement than SSAO.

Magus agree the draw distance of the grass is just stupid and I wish they could have found a better implementation than what they have now. Oblivion had the same problem.

The open world parts of the game definitely don't look that crash hot, but they looked pretty crap in Clear Sky too. Once you get around buildings the engine really starts to shine.

Yes, the buildings look great but thats not the entire game, actually most of the game takes place in the open world which still looks like ****. I don't care to look at a ****ing wall the whole time.

How do I stop dying from radiation posining at the crash site on southern platue my first crash site? I run away and take antiradiation drugs etc. and just keeps going tell I'm dead. Do I have to upgrade to a different suit, ?I'm wearing the mask. Whats the key for radiation, otherwis I really like the game.

Did you pick up an artifact of any kind? Sounds like you are carrying one and it's killing you from the radiation. If you carry an artifact with +2 radiation, you need another artifact with -2 or -3 radiation to balance it. I don't recall there being radiation on the platue, just snorks.

I was waiting for someone to make that joke. lol.

snorks are scarey. Since clear sky, I often get a very real "shiver up my spine" feeling when fighting monsters. It's totally involuntary. pretty cool really.
