I just tried it and no issues with shadows here. That was DX11 maxed out settings. The shadows displayed fine. Have you forced any settings in the Nvidia control panel maybe.

That's why I'll wait for the complete mod for this game. Hopefully there will be a fix for the absolute ****ty gras drawing distance. It really kills the atmosphere in this game.
Grass draw distance is hard coded, so don't expect any modifications.

What shadows?

I wasn't impressed with this engine. It lacked the atmosphere.

In March 2010 I was contracted by the Leadwerks Corporation to design a large scale environment for the Leadwerks real time game engine. The purpose of this environment is to showcase the many features of the Leadwerks engine with consistant, next-gen artwork.

The environment is titled simply The Zone , and it draws inspiration from a variety of sources. Some of these sources include the 1972 Russian sci-fi novel Roadside Picnic by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky and the 1979 film Stalker by Andrei Tarkovsky, which took inspiration from Roadside Picnic. The Zone takes place in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone in the Chernobyl region of the Ukraine.

Kind of had to be done, heh.

Yup, I'm getting this. I know this is a late response, but just got a 460 and tried to run in DX11, but this issue is happening.

Bummer.

It may well have something to do with the Nvidia 3D driver that gets installed with the drivers themselves. You may need to uninstall them from the control panel.

Or you can disable 3d in the services.msc

I went ahead and uninstall the 3D part of the driver, but whatever is the issue in CoP, that didn't resolve it. Still checkin.
