I am seeing that on one gentoo system (amd64) on an nforce4 mboard with a 7900 agp card that the system runs perfectly and reliably, no freezes. An almost identical board with a 7300gs pci card, the system freezes within a couple of minutes, reliably!!. There are virtually no differences between the systems as software is compiled once and installed on both boxes. The only real difference is that they are different nforce4 mboards and that the video cards are agp and pci respectably. Anyone have any clues?
