I think the best water I have ever seen is still Farcry: Instincts on the Xbox 360. Amazing stuff... too bad the rest of the game looked like butt.

Well I was about to say the same as DX11 seems to be really good, have read up on everything DX11 and it feels like the devs actually will start or jump over it. many as we know has passed up on DX10 as it wasent end all be that but by the time DX11 ships then they have an great base to build upon as Vista/Win7 will share it and DX10 hardware will benefit from it greatly!

They also showed off a Real Time 3D Fluid and Particle Simulation and Rendering using cuda at GDC. Very cool stuff. I wonder if we'll see anything like it in Dirt2.

The animation of the sea looked good, but the surface shaders looked way too basic to make it look real.
