Default HDMI Audio with a 9800M GTS, Gateway P-7801u, Ubuntu 9.04

Hi all,

I'm having some trouble getting HDMI audio to work with my laptop. I've already downloaded and installed the latest ALSA packages from the latest website and installed them. The bottom of my alsa-base.conf looks like this:

options snd-hda-intel enable=1 index=0 model=gateway

ICE958 is enabled along with ICE958 Default PCM. I'm not sure what the next step is. I'm hoping someone here has a solution.
