I just installed Linux about 2 hours ago and have been playing around since.. but i just cant' figure out how to instal these nvidia linux drivers.. if nyonen coul give or link me to a guide it would be greatly apreciated
sam also.. red hat 9.. no updates installed the asus nf2 drivers fine(a7n8x) and a ti4200 128mb Last edited by S-T; 06-10-03 at 01:15 PM. |

basically all you have to do is exit out of X Windows and go into the console and type:
sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4363.run and then edit your XF86Config and comment out a couple of lines, and add driver "nvidia"...that is a verrrry basic explanation, and if this is your first time doing it i'd advise you to read the nvidia readme file which i will put a link to. nvidia readme file |
