NVIDIA QuadroTM FX 2700M?

hello all,
any idea when this chipset will be managed correctly?
i'm using it with os2008.11, snv_101b. Actually it seems managed by vesa driver, and it prevents to suspend-resume the dell laptop M6400

The Quadro FX 2700M is supported by the current 180.xx graphics drivers (see http://www.nvidia.com/object/solaris...ay_180.29.html and/or ftp://download.nvidia.com/solaris/180.41).

Has the 180 branch of drivers solved the libwfb.so library issue yet with the current Opensolaris / SXCE with build 107 and later?

I have been told to upgrade my opensolaris to take the library created in the Opensolaris build and rename it to libwfb.so.copy in the directories /usr/X11/lib/modules and /usr/X11/lib/modules/amd64, then install an upgraded Nvidia driver, then after the upgrade is complete move the link created by Nvidia for the file libwfb.so to libwfb.so.nvidia and rename the file libwfb.so.copy back to libwfb.so in both directories.

This is due to the upgrade of Opensolaris/SXCE at build 107 for Xorg server 1.5.3.

No, this problem has not yet been addressed in currently shipping 180.xx NVIDIA Solaris graphics drivers. However, I expect it will be resolved in a future 180.xx driver release.

The driver needed for Quadro FX 2700M (180.40) was delivered to b112.
It was also delivered to the b111a branch for inclusion in OpenSolaris 2009.06.
