I see no reason why this game runs so poor. It's just a bad engine, theres nothing here that we haven't seen done better with better performance.

Still a very fun game...

It seems like a very good game and i want to enjoy it to the fullest. I dont have a problem waiting so i can play it when i have a more capable machine

The fluid effects in this game have not been done in any other game to date.

but it runs terrible even without them jakup.

narc, for me its all about performance relative to whats being shown to me. in this case performance is around crysis level but whats being shown to me doesnt even come remotely close to justifying that performance

I have to agree with you. While I think there is huge potential for this game, and I am interested in playing it, unlike Crysis the environments are very contained - usually games with such a short draw distance outperform ones with huge sprawling landscape.

not even looking at the immense gap in scale, the quality of whats being rendered is mediocre. referring to the graphics engine, not the fluid particles which are cool.

Bioshock had great water effects and while this game is better it doesn't justify in anyway the huge performance **** hole its in. This game isn't a graphics powerhouse... the engine is very poorly optimized, end of story.

You can't compare Bioshock, all the water in Bioshock was prerendered.

+1 It's way way better then anything we have seen, I would even call the fluids effects pretty amazing

There's some very lush lighting effects, and **** loads of motion blur. The shadows quality also seems to be exquisite too. (so many titles use blocky as f*ck shadows you have to wonder why the hell did they put them in the game.)

The problem with this game, like many developed in eastern europe is they sort of brute force loads of fancy graphical effects while not being very artistic about where they put them.
