Not a huge deal as I had no plans to stick with Windows 7 for any length of time.

I'm also not entirely crazy for how Windows 7 handles gadgets. I don't like how they just seem to "float" on my desktop space without any sort of "anchor" as it were.
run a read test on the disc, in something like nero cd-dvd speed.

and if you put the gadgets to the right side of the screen, they will anchor themself. Just like in vista.

What would be the point? I could see it if this were also an issue in Vista, but it's not. I had the installer running for 45 minutes in Win 7, and it wouldn't move past the 65-70% point. In Vista, the install completed in 15 minutes.

I know that, but I like how Vista includes a clear line dividing the sidebar from the rest of the desktop. Unless I missed something, the only way to get the Vista-esque sidebar in Windows 7 is to use a hack, and it doesn't completely work. It would be nice if users were given the option to use the "old" style.

How do you edit games in the Games folder, there's no Customize or Edit function anymore?

hey i have a few questions about this Windows 7 RC
it seems as before there is no email client in it and that is probably because it isnīt RTM,GOLD and so.
so how do i go about emailing and which application to use for it?

and also what else might be missing in it as i will be using it for main os for a while
