Resize on Linux
I'm using a GeForce 8600 GT connected to my LCD Television and I'm using a dual boot system ( Windows 7 and Ubuntu 9.04).
When I installed the Windows 7, the screen resolution was right but the image was outsite the screen (offscreen). I correct this using the Resize HDTV Desktop option in the NVidia Control Pannel.
But, in Ubuntu, the NVidia Settings don't have this option to resize HDTV desktop.
How do I do the same thing that I do in Windows 7 into the Ubuntu?
I'm using the last version of driver 180.51.
Thanks a lot!

Re: Resize on Linux
-> GPU-0 (card #) -> DFP-0 / DFP-1 (TV name#) -> Flat Panel Scaling
[x] Force Full GPU Scaling then select Aspect Ratio Scaled
-> X Server Display Configuration -> Display
then select your TV and change your resolution
(you might need to #1 add your TV as a second display, #2 then disable your first display, #3 re-adjust the resolution of your TV)
do those entries exist for you ?

Gentoo all the way
