Default Ubuntu 9.04 and GeForce FX 5200 Display configuration

I'm now using Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty along my GeForce FX 5200 video card. By means of NVIDIA-SETTINGS I had a look at the X Server Display Configuration and, I couldn't find the configuration (1280x800) that I was used to use with Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy and the same FX 5200 video card. Is there a matter of driver? I both cases I used the ones I found in Ubuntu repositories. I can't understand the difference in resolutions.
I'd like to use 1280x880 resolution again.
Any suggestions?
P.S. the NVIDIA driver version I'm using is: 173.14.16
