So frigging awesome. I kept thinking of Spider-Man though and how awesome it would be if a Spider-Man game ran on the Infamous engine. The way the guy animates even seem like a blatant rip-off of Spider-Man. Looks great and plays great, he dies kind of too easy though and from his own bolts which adds to the lameness. Still, I haven't been so quickly sold on a game since the COD4 demo. Trading in Killzone 2 for this baby.

Personally I loved the demo. I played the demo more than Bionic Commando that arrived. I agree with SIN the world does kind of feel very much like Spiderman and the character reminds me of the apprentice in Force Unleashed, but I really enjoyed it and IMO the controls feel right.

Destroy, it is a demo so they had to limit the world size so I'd expect more than a few invisible guard rails. Though I agree that making him electricity based only feels a bit limited, I'd rather they gave to something like 3 types of powers then let you choose to customize him as either a master of one or a less powerful jack of all trades type hero/villain as you progress.

Wow, have you guys just started gaming? What you see so impressive in the game I'll never know. Generic superhero sandbox game to the max. with poor PS3 showing graphics.

Clipping issues abound, in the first 5 min 2 guys fell through the rail train platform on to street below.
Keep in mind that they have very limited hardware to work on, I mean what do you expect with <512mb of ram? This is also a demo and as such won't represent the final game quality.

Gameplay itself reminded me of Force Unleashed+Crackdown+Assassins Creed in an open world. The saying 'Jack of all trades master of none' immediately comes to mind. The use of electricity is just not that creative or interesting. Feels been there done that.
That gameplay combination sounds like a sure win to me. Electricity hasn't(iirc) been done before at least not in a sandbox game like this.

Definitely not on my buy list. Sure hope Prototype does better.
While this game might not be your cup of tea you don't have to exaggerate its small flaws to make this game look bad.

Vast majority of the time, almost always actually, demos ARE true representations of what the final game is like, anything else is wishful thinking.

My slight exaggerations stems from my major disappointment in this game. All the hype and PS3 powerhouse boasting led to this I guess. Was really hoping to be wow'ed, time to wait for Uncharted 2 I guess.

For an environment this size with so much going on I'm pretty impressed. Gameplay wise its a mix of a lot of different play styles which is why I think this game is a winner. There is a lot of pop in and graphical glitches that could be fixed in the final release but nothing that interrupts gameplay imo.

Only blur I noticed was in the DOF everything up close clear and sharp. The game has great use of textures and color. Yeah the games graphics aren't mind blowing but they were never touted as being so. Think the gameplay has always been the focus of the game.

Well GTA 4 didn't have any AA and people didn't complain too much.

It had massive amounts of blur and filters.

On console, anyway.
