Default HD video colors washed out

The bug report is attached, and a screenshot of the problem. I would attach the sample file, but it's about 100MB and my upload speed is quite weak.

This is driver 180.51.

The issue is the colors are messed up in Xv only for HD videos. I don't have bluray, this is only a file of a movie trailer in HD. The colors are fine on soft mode or opengl.
vdpau does not work, does not even show in "mplayer -vo help". XvMC does show on the list
Code:
Available video output drivers:
	xv	X11/Xv
	x11	X11 ( XImage/Shm )
xover	General X11 driver for overlay capable video output drivers
	gl	X11 (OpenGL)
	gl2	X11 (OpenGL) - multiple textures version
dga	DGA ( Direct Graphic Access V2.0 )
sdl	SDL YUV/RGB/BGR renderer (SDL v1.1.7+ only!)
	fbdev	Framebuffer Device
	fbdev2	Framebuffer Device
	aa	AAlib
	caca	libcaca
	dxr3	DXR3/H+ video out
v4l2	V4L2 MPEG Video Decoder Output
	xvidix	X11 (VIDIX)
	cvidix	console VIDIX
	null	Null video output
	xvmc	XVideo Motion Compensation
	mpegpes	MPEG-PES to DVB card
	yuv4mpeg	yuv4mpeg output for mjpegtools
	png	PNG file
	jpeg	JPEG file
	gif89a	animated GIF output
	tga	Targa output
	pnm	PPM/PGM/PGMYUV file
	md5sum	md5sum of each frame
but it does not work "mplayer -vo xvmc -vc ffh264 Dark\ Knight\ trailer.mov":
Code:

But are XvMC or VDPAU supposed to solve this color problem if they worked or is this another issue?

-vo xvmc only makes sense for MPEG-2 video decoded with -vc ffmpeg12mc

VDPAU isn't working because your MPlayer isn't compiled with VDPAU support.

To solve the color problem, you probably just need to adjust the hue/saturation controls either in MPlayer, or by running nvidia-settings.

I had no clue about xvmc or vdpau, I just installed this driver. Thanks for the reply.

I don't think the problem with the colors is mplayer related because it happened in every player that supports Xv, from Xine to VLC. I solved it, sort of, because I think it's a container issue since I muxed it into matroska mkv and the problem disappeared. Oh well, mov not too important to me anyways.
