Yep. They did. That would be like Nvidia suddenly dropping support for 6xx0 and 7xx0 cards.

I know how my system works. But here come group of windows-kids looking for something like "nvdriver.exe" with "next" "next" "close" buttons - those users are yelling loud, that linux is not user friendly.

Anyways - its still strange, that I can use my 6600 to watch accelerated videos under windows and no under linux. Business, you say... So maybe its time to buy source code or longer support for older cards?
