Some small vids on how to use it:

And Chrome is written in Visual Studio 2008 . IE8 rules, everything else in my book sucks.

Because it is a solid browser.

A lot of features you have seen implemented in IE and Chrome and FF recently have originated from Opera.

From a pure speed perspective, Opera, IE and Chrome all leave FF in the dust, not to mention in terms of stability.

On my work system, IE never crashes, Chrome, never crashes, FF crashes typically between 2 and 5 times during a work day, even if I only have 2-3 tabs open. It's pathetic.

Also, Opera is an all in one browser, and more fully featured than any other, including FF, by default. And it doesn't crash as much as FF does.

Back on topic, Chrome is my primary browser at home. I am using just IE8 and Chrome. There are some issues with Chrome on Windows 7 x64, but on x32 it works brilliantly

FF doesn't crash for me. Not home, not work, not my HTPC, not my wifes desktop, not my laptop. All of these machines run everything from XP, XP lite, Vista 32, Vista 64 and Win7-64. You must have some kind of issues. Granted it's not the fastest, but a second or 2 difference in speed isn't enough to make me throw out the utility and the plethora of add-ons.

I would use Chrome, but it doesn't have add-ons, isn't one of the compatible browsers (IE and FF are the only 2 with near 100% compatibility), and has a layout I don't entirely dig (mainly I hate my bookmarks being jammed way over to the right.) Opera has the same compatibility issues too. I really don't see a need in either one of those 2 browsers if they don't have the same compatibility as the main 2.

I think more people spout hate over FF because it is popular. Those are the same people that spouted hate over IE because it was popular and they are the anti-Microsoft crowd. IE was crap due to wide-open active-x controls. They are still there, albeit with a band-aid on them, and that is why I don't use IE. FF does it all and leaves me no need for any other browser.

I do not have any issues other than FF crashing

If you look at the support sites, you will notice that FF crashing since the last few updates to 3.xx is pretty widespread.

FF used to be my browser of choice but now it is slow, clunky, a memory hog and crashes all the time.

The whole purpose of choice is that innovation and choice will lead to the best product winning in the end. That didn't happen with Opera because of the FF fanboi's however

FF has become what IE used to be. Little innovation and lots of fluff.

The extensions, while interesting, no longer mean much to me because of my ability to integrate gadgets directly to my desktop. However, the pop-up blocker extensions and stylish are 2 things I definitely miss about FF.

Not enough to force me to replace IE8 and Chrome for it, but still, definitely something I miss.

only bad part about chrome is the fact that you can't have addons. All i want is the google toolbar so I can use the autofill feater.

you'd think since this is google's browser that they would implement that since it was in their toolbar.

yes i know they have an "autofill" but its just a password manager....that's it

Sort of. You have to look around for how to do so.

I actually like the default look as it has far more transparency than Internet Explorer 8 and Opera. FF SUCKS for transparency, even with the add-ons.

using all 3 on my windows 7 laptop at work and my win7 laptop at home.. both typically just get used for internet and occasionally photoshop. I only use chrome on my main desktop.

the one thing I don't like about chrome is that the tabs are at the top of the browser and my mouse inadvertantly ALWAYS gets too close to the top edge of the screen and triggers rocketdock's mouse over pop up feature.
