Say I have a video playing in any video player imaginable (VLC, Miro, Dragon player, etc.) - when I open the nvidia settings app, videos are no longer displayed. All I get is black rectangles in the video players until I restart X.
Tested with 180.29 , 180.44, 180.60 and some other versions I can't recall right now. (I'm using 180.29 because it doesn't crash ... I need to do more testing on that before I submit more bugs) |

Yeah, I think you have to adjust some of the sliders in the xvideo settings. There was a thread on this somewhere..

There may be some incorrect values still lingering in ~/.nvidia-settings-rc.
Try starting nvidia-settings with the --no-config option to prevent it from loading the configuration file. |
