It reminds me of Carma 3, and that is NOT a good thing.

Agreed.

I'm interested in this game but its hard to be too excited about it after seeing how bad someone could screw up Carmageddon.

Doesn't look open ended like Carmageddon, I hate games that lead people along by the nostrils... even for a racing game... half the fun of Carmageddon was exploring, and jumping off buildings...

Or using the cheats to enable pinball mode and solid-granite car, and then lodge yourself into a train tunnel, derailing the train and sending it bouncing across the map, destroying all in its path.

Apparently this game has changed names yet again. Now its called GearGrinder.

http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=62866

Its also been pushed back to September. Hopefully they can polish it up by then. Targem's last game, Hard Truck: Apocalypse was pretty low budget and repetitive but had a decent premise. If they can improve on that this game could be pretty cool.

Really? Thought it was a different game? It appears that game is just about trucks only...

I think you're right.

There appears to be some confusion about what these games are called.

Armageddon Riders (made by Targem) was supposedly renamed to Clutch.

Clutch (made by Targem) was renamed to GearGrinder and appears to be a totally different game.

I have no idea whats going on, I'm just posting the news as I find it.

EDIT: Apparently Targem doesn't know they're making "Clutch" (Armageddon Riders\Armageddon Racers) either:

http://eng.targem.ru/site/games

What a mess. Whoever is making this game needs to get an English speaking PR rep, as does Targem, because no one outside of Russia knows what they're working on.
