Default Re: Armageddon Riders... The Return of Carmageddon?

Clutch has been released on Steam:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/35310/

http://www.gfi.su/index1.php?langid=...ge=Past_action

I want to try it out but for $30 I don't want to be the guinea pig.

Here is some gameplay footage of Armageddon Riders (the Russian version):

It looks sort of open like Carmageddon, but its hard to get an idea of how much there is to actually do.

Any Carmageddon fans want to try this out and let us know how it is?

Yeah, that's the main reason I didn't just buy it as soon as it was available. The levels look pretty barren.

After playing the Flatout series its hard to imagine an action-racing game without thousands of physics objects flying all over.

Still, it could be fun, so I'm waiting for more feedback on it.

Mini review on the steam forums:

http://forums.steampowered.com/forum...d.php?t=922934

Its mostly positive. The game has no MP, but other than that it sounds like its worth playing.

If it was $20 I'd buy it.

Cheap? I've blown way too much money on games recently. I have almost 20 (twenty) games sitting around waiting to be started. Either on Steam or in boxes (I have over a dozen in boxes). I bought them all cheaply, but I've still spend a few hundred dollars on games recently.

Doesn't have the speed, style, or gratifying collisions of Carmageddon. It's obviously that they "technically" have all of the elements of the classic, but they just didn't tie it together properly.
