kubuntu hardy, 8.04.2, 64 bit also kubuntu jaunty 64 bit
8400 GS, PNY brand
Athlon X2 5000+ on asus mb with new power supply, 8 gig ram
C1E disabled in setup, all else default
multiple 3d programs running

on 185.18.14 i get program crashes, system hangs, black text consoles

on 180.60 i am solid

(maybe one system hang per week)

--Do you have MSI enabled? If so, disable it or use 185.18.10.
