Dear nvidia developers
When restarting X, I have an exactly 15 seconds hang on my Thinkpad R61 with a nvs140m. I had a 30seconds hang with older drivers, which was fixed during the 160 release cycle. However, now in 185.18.14 the problem is partially back, with a 15 second hang (which is too much for a vanilla kdm, it will fail to start up due to this) Are the fixes from the 160er series not fully ported over yet, or is this a new problem? Bug report attached (don't mind the version mismatch lines, they are from right after when I installed the new driver and restarted X. I rebooted since then, there is no version mismatch and the problem persists) Thanks in advance for fixing this (preferred before release), so I can use more recent drivers as well. (and I guess that all nvs140m users will be affected this time as well) Kind regards Fuchs |
