AI is exactly the same... I play a lot of games on both console and PC and the AI is always identical.

It's the same.

Of the games I actually own for PC and 360, the A.I. is the same on both -- Bioshock, The Orange Box, F.E.A.R., F.E.A.R. 2, Prey, Quake IV, and I think those are the only games I own on both platforms.

I can't imagine why the AI would be different between platforms.

I haven't seen many games that have CPU-heavy AI, so there isn't any reason to change it... even if it made sense to dig through thousands of lines of complex, fully functional AI code, just to make it not work as well.

Bioshock has AI!!? FEAR has a slow motion, so thats not a big problem.

And Crysis is already dumbed down for consoles with Halo "cover and wait your health to recharge" gameplay. On Delta difficulty AI is joke, especially when you compare it to Far Cry!

I was hoping they'd aim for the next console releases with Cryengine 3. Seems like now they'll be launching an old-hat engine at the end of the current console lifespan.

So why the hell bring up the issue if it isn't relevant to the topic?

Health recharging does allow for some degree of freedom that health bars dont allow for.

+1

and thats why i prefer it over the old fashioned health bars system. (except for some realistic/tactical shooters where this would reduces the level of realism in the game ..)

Never has there been an fps where the character is female, the ability to check out your boobs in a fps is an awsome idea.

Don't tell me you didn't know ?

The health generation in Crysis makes actually quite a lot of sense, supermodern nano suit, set in the future, etc. While I agree that even at Delta it was a bit easy if cloak was overused, the Advanced AI mod made the game a lot more challenging and fun, enemies were deadly, quick and you actually had to use tactics to survive.
