Question Question About MFT (Master File Table)

When defragging my E: drive, using Auslogics Defrag program, I see there is a large MFT. Is that just for the E: drive or is the MFT for all drives? I want to format my E: drive, but I didn't how that would effect things, such as booting the system. Is it safe to format or not?

I can't believe that they would set it up so that formatting one drive would make the others useless. If you're concerned though, you can always run the defragger on C: and make sure there's also an MFT there. I'm almost positive there will be (IIRC they're created at format time so it makes sense they would be per-partition).

Each partition has its own master file table.
