I would definately assume it is a Ninja Gaiden style game, which makes it an odd fit for PC, especially since the other games, a much more normal fit for PC, were not ported (lately).

In terms of game play the older games fit better, but the technical feat of moving MGS4 to other platforms would be mammoth, MGS3 maybe not so much as you could run it with sheer brute force alone now.
They are probably going PC on this one because of the ease of 360 to PC port, sure it may not port well, but sales will probably outweight the cost.

It will be better with gamepad, you can use a gamepad on PC you know... I'll PM you some instructions. it's simple, just need a USB port and a 360 controller or Logitech Rumblepad for best results.

And yeep I know it all to well as I have a wireless 360 gamepad and I really like it, a must for some games!
