a) I dont think this is for sale forum.
b) You don't need to worry any more or less about the ATI drivers than you could about the NVIDIA drivers.

A) Mind your own business.
B) 95% of the people who have owned both Nvidia and ATI products would disagree with you.

Now buzz off.

I've had a better time with nVidia's SLi than ATi's Crossfire.

As far as single GPU, I haven't found any real difference. I love the Sapphire Toxic HD 4890 in my AMD rig. It's idle 43C, load 60-65C and whisper quiet. I get stock GTX 285 or slightly better performance out of it in most all titles. I've got Vista x64 SP2 installed on that computer.

I own an ATI card, and from my personal experience the drivers themselves are good (for non-crossfire), but getting the CCC to install cleanly is a bloody nightmare - it *never* goes smoothly.

FUD, have nothing to say but good things about the Cat drivers. This is a Nvidia fan board. Even if the drivers aren't quite as good, I've never had a game not work because of it, and overall the drivers don't have any issues. To counter that argument they're always like "WELL WE NEED PROFILES" if you odnt have a crossfire set up profiles are stupid.

My brother has a ATI Radeon 4870 and it runs great! No issues with drivers what so ever, and from what I saw the drivers were pretty nice.

ArmA2 apparently likes ATI cards more, and an ATI 4890 can be had for around 200 pounds (from what I see on Amazon.co.uk), so that would probably be your best choice. It can handle Crysis well too.

They perform pretty much the same.

A 250 is marginal at best compared to an 8800GTS. It'll be faster, but the performance improvement won't be worth the investment. Go with a GTX275...or the 4890.
