Morrowind, Call of Cthulhu and Oblivion coming to Steam

Hello everybody, nice to be back. :>

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of Earth, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be making an entry onto Steam. They aren't available for purchase yet but should be soon, hopefully this weekend...

I hope Oblivion is cheap, I will definitly get it again to have the ease of steam attached to it.

i think they jumped the gun with that annoucement. plus it won't be this weeks deal, since they trying to off-load MMO Junk this week.

Call of Cthulhu was one hell of a game. By far the "scariest" game I've ever played. Also one of the most atmospheric. It was incredibly difficult at times and took a lot of trial and error but it was sooo worth it.

I'm glad its getting some more attention. The developers shut down not long after the game was released on PC. Maybe if it sells well on Steam Bethesda will have some incentive to fund a sequel.

Probably.

Oblivion and Morrowind engines are extremely easy to mod from the ground up. The actual game executable has very little to do with it.

Yeah, its possible that's the case. Shame, really. Most people aren't interested in MMOs, Valve was better off with a Bethesda Combo deal.

My days of getting games again for a Steam version are gone though, at least for the moment.

I was excited about rebuying Oblivion but I got it for $20 when the thing came out, $20 in 2009 is bit too much, especially since Oblivion was a snooze fest after a while. Both Morrowind and Cthulhu need to be $9.95, too.
