PCGH: Will the PC Version of your game offer a support for Direct X 10/DX10.1?
Mark Randel: Ghostbusters uses DX9 to support the widest gaming audience. There is absolutely no rendering technique that can be done in DX10 that cannot be done in DX9 with clever code. As of February 2009, only 24.75% of the gamers on Steam use Windows Vista and DX10. If this percentage goes up considerably with Windows 7, we'll release a DX10.1 or DX11 native version. |

With an 8800gtx the lowest frames I've noticed so far has been in the upper 30's. This is with 2xaa ms(1920x1200). Have only played an hour or less so far tho.

I was kinda skeptical about this game at first, but now I am very much enjoying the game. A worthy buy imo.

Im stuck on early in the game at the part where you have to chase down the fisherman ghost. I get to the part where those wall lights/lamps come to life and i have to blast my way out but theres so many and all that happens is i get raped. There doesnt seem to be a way out, a little help please?
Btw running on single 8800GT 512MB at 1680x1050 res, no AA, everything on high except soft particles and another option (forgot what). Never checked the framerate, but lowest i could tell was around the 20s. Its not a big problem since the slowdowns only occur when things get hectic. And my graphics look just as good as all the screenshots in this thread. Anyway, great game so far. Never been a fan of ghostbusters, but im definitely digging this.

I'm starting to believe its a CPU limitation, if quad-core users report around 65% CPU usage then it could explain the performance issues with our Dual cores.
I installed it on my XP-SP3 partition. I will install it later on my Vista-64 (SP2) partition.

Maybe you're right. My system is around 60-80% usually, and the game supports 8 threads (maybe more).
