There is just something about those top developer studios.. Relic, Valve etc., just awesome places, I would be so happy to go to work every morning!

I have to wonder if Portal 2 is actually an extension to the HL2 universe.

Also curious about HL2: EP3 as well.

Seriously, can't wait for the new Valve games.

I think Gabe is sitting a little too close to his 50" monitor!

I'm glad a company like this is growing, gives me hope that there are people who have business sense but yet don't skimp when it comes to making good games that people would like!

I've been to Ubisoft Montréal's studios and I must say that it looks similar to Valve's new studios, one thing about Ubi's studios I was amazed about was their sound testing room, and their "back-store" of hundreds upon hundreds of various objects that their sound designers use to create sound effects in their games, I wish we were shown the sound room in Valve's studios, unless I missed it?

Also they got Foosball tables in Ubi's studios!

Anyway, it's great to see such places, I would love to work for Valve.

I would venture a guess that they have multiple server locations scattered all over the place.

Full of win.

I'd love to work for Valve one day.

I read an article a while back on how they have a pretty unique workflow when it comes to solving problems and coming up with crazy new ideas. They grab a bunch of people from different backgrounds and just pit them up against the problem.

Also... SNACKS!
