So far, I'm digging it. I'm down to lvl 23, the 2nd level of the lava dungeon. The constant descending isn't really bothering me but I do see where the game could have been more visually interesting with more diverse terrain and surroundings.

It seems like it's more or less the same dungeon over and over but with a differen "skin" if you will over the floor/walls/etc. I can't complain though about that really becuase diablo II was the exact same way but that monotony was broken up by being able to go outside and that's one thing I'm missing with this game.

It's good to see a nice variety of enemies and they're staying challenging.

Kinda pissed that the vendors are now selling items that require me to be 3~4 levels higher than I am now. Seems like by the time I reach those levels, I'll have found something way better or they'll be selling lots of better stuff

I'd have also liked to have seen different ACTS like Diablo had where you go to a totally different area but I can see how that wouldn't really jive with the whole journey to the center of the earth plot they've got going here.

anyways, it's entertaining. I never played fate so some of this stuff is totally new to me. To me, it's worth the $20. Hopefully they'll have some decent DLC and maybe an expansion.

I just tried the demo and it's really awesome. I'm liking it a lot everytime I play it. I'm going to buy it shortly. My brother also loved it. Hopefully they're actually working on co-op feature... it'd be great.

I just looked Runic Games up and realized the studio's in my area. I think it's expected to play similar to Fate since creator of Fate founded Runic Games and all ex-Flagship people joined (also they worked on Mythos) to create this Torchlight game.

You can force AA via the control panel or CCC by alt-tabbing out of the game and then enabling AA.

didnt know much about this one - but bought it in the Steam sale at the weekend and I have to say its a complete BARGAIN

the artwork and sound are both fantastic, gameplay is predictable but SMOOTH - the whole game just oozes quality and smoothness from every pore

when you see the unfinished crap that most companies put out at double the price, you have to congratulate Runic on an excellent piece of work

What is it about this crappy game that causes new buyers to think its the greatest game ever?

I have yet to find a single person play this game longer than 2 weeks. Most quit after 4-5 days.

Finished it after I finished DA:O. It's a nice diablo like game. No real complaints given it's price. Never played WoW so I can't really make a comparison to it, though no monthly fee so I think it's better than WoW . 31.6 hours total playtime. Not sure why anyone that liked the Diablo games wouldn't like this one. Greatest game ever no, but it is fun for a dungeon crawler.

This game gets an 8.5 from me, would be a 9+ if it had multiplayer-c0op in it. This would be what I'm playing for a little while if it had coop in it.

This game is great. You hit the nail on the head. It is a diablo clone with a bit of WoW. Overall the story line is pretty lame but the game play is entertaining to say the least. I cant wait for the new Diablo to come out...!! This is a great buy for 20$.
