Default Which nvidia-driver give support vor XRandr?

I use on ubuntu 9.04 "nvidia 185.18.14". The graphics map in my notebook is 9600 m GT.
Can somebody say me with which driver XRandr functioned?

I would like to configure with pleasure my external monitor rationally!

All of the recent Nvidia drivers support RandR. However, configuration of a multimonitor-array under Linux with Nvidia is usually best done using the nvidia-settings utility.

Bur randr cannot detect my extended screen on my laptop (Ubuntu 9.04).

The nvidia driver only supports XRANR-1.1 which does not support multiple screens.
To configure multiple screens you can use nvidia-settings (which uses nvcontrol + randr-1.1 to enable screens/set modes).
