Default Triple monitors?

Folks, I happily run a nice Mandriva system with two 22" screens run from a Gigabyte 8600GT card. I would like to stick a third monitor on as even with two I find when coding I'd like a third screen!

Does anyone know whether this is possible? Would I need another identical card (I have one in a spare machine) and a motherboard with enough PCI-e slots? Would nvidia-settings just detect and configure as with my dual monitor set-up?

There are a number of options: multiple cards, Nvidia QuadroPlex or
Matrox ThripleHead2Go. Please check posting #2 in the following thread
